The Eras Tour and Taylor Swift’s Re-recording Endeavor
Swift announced Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) during the Nashville leg of her Eras Tour in May. This album marks the third chapter in her ambitious project to re-record most of her previous work. The aim is to regain control over her master recordings, a move that follows the re-recordings of Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
Collaborations and New Releases
The reimagined version of Swift’s 2010 album, Speak Now features collaborations with Fall Out Boy and Hayley Williams from Paramore on two other “From the Vault” tracks. Swift teamed up again with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner from The National to co-produce several songs on the album.
Since the release of Midnights in October, Swift has launched a deluxe album edition. It includes an updated version of “Snow on the Beach” featuring more of Lana Del Rey and a remix of “Karma” with Ice Spice. Swift also collaborated with The National on “The Alcott” for the band’s April album First Two Pages of Frankenstein. Recently, she expanded her Eras Tour to include international stops in Mexico, Brazil, Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and more. Learn more about The Eras Tour.
