We think Utah is the most beautiful state in the country, but what about everyone else?
Thrillist.com just ranked all 50 states by how beautiful they are. It’s a completely subjective list put together by a bunch of their writers, so you’re totally justified in calling them idiots.
So what do they think of our gorgeous state?
“To rate this high with exactly zero miles of coastline, you’ve gotta have some superlative sights. And Utah brings it like no other landlocked state in the nation.”
So where do we fall?
The 10 most beautiful states are almost all in the West:
- California
- Hawaii
- Alaska
- Utah
- Colorado
- Washington
- Oregon
- Wyoming
- Montana
- Michigan
4th! Not bad!
Falling after Hawaii and Alaska is no insult, they’ve got a stacked deck! But in my opinion, the only thing California has that we don’t is a beach.
So who got called out for being blah?
And the 10 least beautiful are mostly in the Midwest:
- Kansas
- Indiana
- Illinois
- Iowa
- Louisiana
- Connecticut
- Oklahoma
- Mississippi
- Ohio
- New Jersey
At least hey didn’t say they were ugly states, just least beautiful…
