US has 26 Medals After Day Four!

We picked up seven more medals at the Olympics yesterday, and four of them were GOLD.  So now we have the most gold medals, and leading overall! #winning!

Here are the standings going into day five:

1.  The United States leads with 26 medals . . . 9 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze.

2.  China with 17 medals . . . 8 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze.

3.  Japan with 14 medals . . . 3 gold, 1 silver, and 10 bronze.

4.  Russia with 12 medals . . . 3 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze.

5.  Australia with 9 medals . . . 4 gold and 5 bronze.

The U.S. women’s gymnastics team dominated the all-around competition and won by more than eight points, which is a record.  Russia took silver, and China took bronze.
