Did you love the Jay and Silent Bob movies back in the day? Or perhaps you’re like me and only know their work from a cameo performance on the Canadian teen soap opera, Degrassi. Stop judging! When we interviewed Jay a while back, he talked all about how much he loved watching Degrassi with Kevin Smith.
Well, we’re in luck! A J&SB reboot is officially in the works and starts filming this summer. Aside from a small cameo in Clerks 2 and an animated movie, we haven’t seen these two characters together since 2001 in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, where they drove across the country to stop Hollywood from making a movie about them.
Why mess with a good thing? According to Kevin Smith, the new movie will yet again follow Jay and Silent Bob across the country. But this time, they are trying to stop Hollywood from making a sequel to the film they originally made in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
The new film is set to release sometime in 2019. Are you excited about this or is it time for the boys to hang up their hat?
