This is going to make shopping MUCH more easier.
Snapchat and Amazon are putting a feature in Snapchat that lets you identify an item on Snap and buy it from Amazon in the Snapchat app. All you’ll have to do is point your camera at an item or barcode and then an amazon pop-up card will show you that item or something similar.
The ability to buy products in-app is an idea that a lot of other apps are experimenting with. Snapchat’s competitor, Instagram has something similar for businesses, but not with a company like Amazon. There is no release don’t on this new feature, but a hand full of users will be selected to test the new feature.
