Bill Murray is in the New “Ghostbusters”!

Ok, this is a BIG deal! Rumor has hit that not only will Dan Aykroyd be making an appearance, but Bill Murray HIMSELF will be in the new “Ghostbusters” movie.

Well, proabably. There’s no official word from Bill or anyone actually involved in the movie, but the “Hollywood Reporter” says it’s happening, and they’re generally a reliable source. There’s no word what his role will be.

Add that to the news that Dan Aykroyd has a cameo, and I’m officially excited about this movie. He never got “Ghostbusters 3” off the ground, but at least he gets to be in the third “Ghostbusters” movie.

Dan spilled the beans when he Tweeted, quote, “On GB set shooting my scene with funny beautiful Kristen Wiig.  Lady GB’S are adorable, hilarious and badass.  Exhilarating.” The tweet was later deleted, so maybe he wasn’t supposed to let us in on that secret.

There’s no official word on Dan’s part, but a source claims he’ll play a cab driver who, quote, “utters a famous line from the first film’s theme song.”  So I’m guessing It’s either “Who you gonna call?” or “I ain’t afraid of no ghost.”

There are also rumors that Ozzy Osbourne has a cameo as himself. The “Boston Herald” says he shot a scene for the movie that takes place at a 12-hour metal concert called the “Rock Revenge Fest”.

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig recently announced the names of the new ghost-catching crew. Kristen Wiig’s character is called Erin Gilbert, Melissa McCarthy’s is named Abby Yates, Leslie Jones will play Patty Tolan and Kate McKinnon will portray Jillian Holtzmann.

This reboot might not suck after all!
