A single for Billie Eilish’s sophomore album, “Happier Than Ever” has been released.
“Your Power” finds Eilish perched on top of a cliff, camouflaged by earth tones. She sings about a man who uses his power to control a young girl. A snake slowly wraps around Billie as she sings, she eventually is choked by the anaconda, simulating a relationship where someone is forcing their power on another and causing them pain.
“I feel very vulnerable putting this one out because i hold it so close to my heart. this is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. i hope this can inspire change,[sic]” Billie said of the song.
