Demi Lovato Just Opened Up About Coming Out To Her Parents And Starting A Family

Demi Lovato Says the “Emotional” Moment She Came Out to Her Parents Was “Really Beautiful”.

Demi Lovato recently joined Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy” to discuss her experience with coming out to her parents. Lovato said by the time she told her parents she was “shaking, crying and was feeling overwhelmed.” Lovato said that her dad referenced her song, “Cool For The Summer” as the point where he knew his daughter’s sexual taste. Her mother told her she “just wanted her to be happy.”

Although Lovato identifies as “sexually fluid,” she’s unsure if she will settle down with a man or a woman. “You can find it in any gender. I like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want,” Lovato told InStyle.

Demi also spoke about becoming a parent telling Andy, “I don’t know if I’m gonna have kids this year or in 10 years. I don’t know if I’m gonna do it with a partner or without, ‘cuz women, we don’t need partners.”

Do you agree with Demi that women don’t need partners?
