Many watching the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary are now seeing her life through a different lens, one such person is John Mayer, who sat down with Andy Cohen for his Sirius XM show.

While watching the documentary Mayer admits he “almost cried five times,” and says he’s had “infinite grace” by navigating the road to stardom. “…to see the sadness in this human being… I mean, I was on the edge of tears five times, because if you understand what this business/industry/lifestyle does to a person. To go through this and come out the other side OK, is to have infinite grace for those who struggle with it,” Mayer told Andy. Being male affords you a different reaction when facing obstacles, “If you’re a man, you’re an outlaw. If you’re a woman, you’re kind of crazy.” said Meyer.
