It’s the Mom’s Day Diamond Flight! Put your paper plane skills to the test and win diamonds for your mom!
20 lucky listeners will be qualified to participate. The contest is May 11, 2017, at Provo Towne Centre! Check in begins at 6:00 pm and the contest starts at 7:00 pm.
Everyone will be provided with 2 sheets of paper, your airplane must be made from the paper we provide and must be folded onsite! You’ll get one practice plane and practice throw, then it’s on to the contest!
If your paper plane hits closest to the mark, you’ll win a two-stone diamond necklace in 14K white gold for mom courtesy of Schubach Jewelers!
Every qualifier will receive a prize! From Diamonds to beauty products to gift cards, no one leaves empty handed.

These are the specific contest rules for “Mix 105.1’s Mom’s Day Diamond Flight – Event” contest. Contest date: May 11th, 2017. Qualifiers must attend the Mix105.1 Mom’s Day Diamond Flight event at Provo Towne Centre Food Court (1200 Towne Centre Blvd, Provo, UT 84601) on May 11th, 2017 during the event time of 6:00p –8:00p MDT. To qualify to participate in the contest, listeners must call 844-649-1051 when solicited during the contest qualifying period of 05/01/2017 – 05/10/2017. One caller per solicitation will qualify to participate in the Mom’s Day Diamond Flight. Or enter to qualify at mix1051utah.com/life/moms-day-diamond-flight. 2 participants will be selected at random through Aptivada. Or enter to win onsite at the Provo Towne Centre 1 hour prior to the event on May 11th. 2 participants will be selected at random before the contest begins. Participants must fold paper airplanes with the paper provided by Mix at the event. No items other than the provided paper may be used in the construction of the paper airplane. Participants must be present to win. Registration will be from 6:00p – 7:00p MDT. Qualifiers must check in within the registration timeframe to participate in the contest. Each participant will be issued 2 pieces of paper to construct 2 paper airplanes. One paper plane is a practice, one will be used for the actual competition. Each participant will be allowed a practice throw with their practice plane. The success of each throw will be measured by how close to the center ring the paper plane lands. Planes landing closest to the center will score higher. The highest scoring participant will win the diamonds from Schubach Jewelers. Valued at $999.00. The second closest participant will win Amazon Echo Dot. Valued at $50. The third closest participant will win a gift card to Wingers. Valued at $50. The remaining participants will each win gift cards to various establishments. Valued at $25.
