It seems like we’re all doing Thanksgiving a little different this year. According to Tofurky, many people are going the plant-based route for their big meal.
Tofurky’s famous “Turkey Roast” saw a major spike in sales leading up to the holiday, with a 22% increase in purchases.
The company says Covid-19 and more people leaning towards plant-based meals have made a huge impact. Wider availability factors in too, with Kroger stores now selling the brand across the country.
Tofurky saw a similar rise in popularity in April with their Vegan Ham.
Have you ever tried plant-based food? Would you eat a vegan “turkey” at Thanksgiving?
