Volleyball Team Loses Everything in Fire – Still Shows Up To Match. Opposing Team Has New Uniforms For Them

The Camp Fire is the Deadliest and Most Destructive Wildfire In California History

The girls volleyball team at Paradise Adventist Academy in Northern California have lost everything in the Camp Fire – their uniforms and equipment. Despite losing their gear the ladies still wanted to play their semifinal championship match this past Saturday.

The team got a big surprise when they showed up to the game. The opposing team, Forest Lake Christian High School, was waiting for the match…with new uniforms and equipment!

The team arrived at Forest Lake Christian in Auburn, CA to find new custom jerseys, shorts, knee pads, socks, and a truck load of donated clothes and a little more than $16,000 in cash!

The Forest Lake Christian community pulled together quick by donating all the items in less than 24 hours.

Paradise Adventist Academy lost the game, but they remain friends with their Forest Lake Christian High rivals and even posed for photos after the game.
