Charli XCX Unveils Brat Remix Album with Troye Sivan on “Talk Talk”
Charli XCX has once again blurred the boundaries of pop with a surprise remix album announcement. The project, Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat, drops October 11 via Atlantic Records, expanding her Brat universe with 16 new songs. One of the highlights? A fresh remix of “Talk Talk” featuring Troye Sivan, who will join her on the road for the Sweat tour kicking off in Detroit this weekend. Listen to the new remix below.
Star-Studded Collaborations
The album promises even more star-studded moments, adding to the year’s earlier remixes like “360”, which features Robyn and Yung Lean, and “Guess” with Billie Eilish. Other standout collaborations include a revamped “Girl, So Confusing” with Lorde and a hyper-pop rendition of “Von Dutch” courtesy of A. G. Cook, which features Addison Rae. The twist? Eleven tracks remain a mystery, leaving fans buzzing with anticipation.
Troye Sivan and Dua Lipa on “Talk Talk”
Troye Sivan’s addition on “Talk Talk” brings even more flair to the dancefloor-ready track, and the remix features a surprise cameo by Dua Lipa, casually flexing her multilingual skills in French and Spanish. The pair, already known for their electric chemistry on tracks like “1999” and “2099,” are gearing up to set stages on fire with Shygirl joining them on tour. Sadly, the tour will not stop in Salt Lake City, but if you’re interested in traveling to see Charli, find ticket information here.
