Beyoncé Poured a $20,000 Bottle of Wine Into a Hot Tub and Everyone is Upset
Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé have released their video for “Feeling Myself” on Tidal, and there’s a picture going around from the filming, where Beyoncé empties an expensive bottle of champagne into a hot tub. It’s a bottle of Armand de Brignac, a.k.a. ‘Ace of Spades’, and a single bottle could cost anywhere from $300 to hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s unclear how expensive the one in the video is, but in any event, people freaked out online about it, saying things like: Quote, “Beyoncé, pouring my college tuition fees into a hot tub.” And, quote, “Even just $1,000 could have completely changed someone’s life, like a chance at college or maybe finally being able to eat lunch. So seeing her pour out a $20,000 bottle into a pool is a slap in the face.” For what it’s worth, Jay Z owns that champagne, so it’s likely nobody paid for it. After all, if publicity is what they were looking for, it’s clearly working. Get the full story here.

Rebel Wilson Responds To Claims She’s Lying About Her Name And Age
A former classmate of Rebel Wilson’s says the actress isn’t who she claims to be, and you can guess how seriously the “Pitch Perfect 2” star is taking the allegations. The classmate told the Australian tabloid Woman’s Day that Wilson has been lying about both her name and age, which prompted the star to respond on Twitter on Monday:
OMG I’m actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as “CC Chalice” ….thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome x
— Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) May 18, 2015
Okay but all jokes aside now…my real name is Fat Patricia x — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) May 18, 2015
The report from Woman’s Day alleged that Wilson’s real name is Melanie Elizabeth Bownds and that she’s actually 36 years old, not 29 as it’s believed. Included is a yearbook photo of someone who looks like the actress with the name Melanie Elizabeth Bownds. Meanwhile, the Sydney Morning Herald reports that business records filed with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) confirm that “Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson” is listed with a birth date of March 2, 1980, which would make her 35 years old. Sir Elton John Joined His Former Classmates at a School Reunion
He may have gone on to become one of the biggest stars in the world but 57 years ago, Sir Elton John was just one of the gang at Pinner County Grammar School. The 68-year-old superstar enjoyed a nostalgia-filled trip to England over the weekend to join his former classmates at a school reunion and admitted ‘it was as if we never left’. Of particular joy to Elton was the presence of his ‘oldest pal’, Keith Francis, a close friend since 1958, who flew in from Australia especially for the event. Get the full story here.

A New KFC Ad with Darrell Hammond as Colonel Sanders
KFC just announced they’re bringing back Colonel Sanders in a new ad campaign with Darrell Hammond from “Saturday Night Live” as Colonel Sanders. He’ll be in their new commercials starting Monday, in honor of KFC’s 75th anniversary. The original Colonel Sanders wasn’t a character, he was a real businessman named Harland Sanders, and he started Kentucky Fried Chicken. Unfortunately he died in 1980. So the new commercials are going for more of a spoof than a recreation of the real thing. Darrell Hammond is the guy on “SNL” who does Bill Clinton, and Sean Connery in the ‘Celebrity Jeopardy’ skits with Will Ferrell. He’s not a member of the cast anymore, but he became their announcer last year after Don Pardo died. Get the full story here. https://youtu.be/Dh2rHsxYh6U
Cannes Film Festival Turned Away Women in Flats
Cannes Film Festival has come under fire after reports women were turned away from a red carpet screening for wearing flat shoes instead of heels. The women – some of whom were said to be older with medical conditions – were attending the world premiere of Cate Blanchett’s new film Carol. Screen Daily said the festival had confirmed heels were obligatory for women at red carpet screenings. However the director of the festival said the “rumours” were “unfounded”. A spokesperson for the festival confirmed: “Rules have not changed throughout the years (tuxedo, formal dress for gala screenings) and there is no specific mention about the height of the women’s heels as well as for men’s.” Actress Emily Blunt had been asked about the story at a press conference while promoting her own film, Sicario, at Cannes.”I think everyone should wear flats,” the Devil Wears Prada star said.
