Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale Are Getting Divorced
Will and Jada may be keeping it together, but Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are not. They announced yesterday that they’re divorcing after almost 13 years of marriage. Tabloids are speculating that Gwen pulled the plug on the marriage, because she believed Gavin was cheating. They issued a statement saying, quote, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. “To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.” Gavin is 49 and Gwen is 45. They have three sons, 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma, and 1-year-old Apollo. Gavin is also the father of 26-year-old British model Daisy Lowe, although he didn’t know it until 2004. Zooey Deschanel Is Now a Mother, and a Wife
Zooey Deschanel is now a mother, and a wife, again. Last night, her rep confirmed that she gave birth to a baby girl. There’s no word on a name or an exact birth date yet, but the “New York Post” says the baby was born last week. The baby did not arrive out of wedlock, because the rep also revealed that Zooey and her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik recently tied the knot. There aren’t any further details on the wedding. Zooey and Jacob got engaged on January 17th, her 35th birthday. This is Zooey’s second marriage. She was married to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard from 2009 to 2011. Get more here.

Amy Schumer Wants Stricter Gun Laws After the Shooting at Her Movie
Amy Schumer is calling for stricter gun laws after a man killed two people, wounded nine others, and then shot himself at a Louisiana theater showing her movie “Trainwreck”. Yesterday she held a press conference with her second cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, to introduce new steps to tighten gun laws. It includes increasing background checks nationwide and making it more difficult for the mentally ill and violent criminals to get their hands on guns. Amy said, quote, “I’m not sure why this man chose my movie to end those two beautiful lives and injure nine others, but it was very personal for me. Enough is enough. These shootings have got to stop. I don’t know how else to say it.” She added, quote, “I am expecting a backlash and I’ll handle it the way I’ve handled it the last 10 years. I’ve had death threats and a lot of hate directed toward me.” Chuck said, quote, “Sensible legislation can happen. Ice-T & Coco are Expecting a Baby Girl
After announcing that they’re expecting, Ice-T and Coco Austin revealed on their talk show, Ice & Coco, that they’re having a baby girl. The couple has been together for 14 years. They revealed a picture from their ultrasound and also announced their baby’s name. “Already got a name…The girl’s name is Chanel,” revealed Ice-T. “Yes. Little Chanel,” added Coco. Chris Christie Got Booed, Hard
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie received a harsh welcome while presenting an award at the Haskell Invitational, a horse race that took place in his state over the weekend. As Christie entered the winners circle to present the winning trophy to the owners of American Pharoah, the Triple Crown-winner who also took first at the Haskell, he was booed, heavily, by the crowd. Real Housewives Star Kim Richards Arrested for Shoplifting from Target
The Van Nuys Police Department confirmed that Kim Richards, 50, was suspected of walking out of the store with close to $600 worth of items in her cart. She was apprehended at about 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon, and placed under citizen’s arrest. Richards spent the night in jail and was released on a $5,000 bail. Her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, told Entertainment Tonight late Monday that he was surprised by the shoplifting claims. “I couldn’t imagine Kim stealing or shoplifting anything. She is a giver,” he told the site. “I am in complete shock. Guaranteed this must be some kind of mistake, and the facts will come out soon. She was arrested for shoplifting toys in a cart, but this was a clear misunderstanding. This was not alcohol or drug related.”This isn’t Richards’ first brush with the law. This past April, the former child actress was arrested on charges of public intoxication, battery, and resisting arrest, after causing a ruckus at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Get more here.
