Michael Clifford From “5 Seconds of Summer” Fell Off Stage
5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford biffed it big time during a performance at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in London, and, it was televised. He jumped up with his guitar and misjudged the landing missing the stage entirely. He’s OK and he finished the show, later in an interview he said: “I was looking at Rita Ora and I was like…hey….and I fell.” THis is the same guy that accidently set himself on fire during a concert earlier this year. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Are Offering a $10,000 V.I.P. Package on Their Tour That Doesn’t Even Include Tickets to the Show
You can do a lot of things with $10,000, and now, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are offering to take 10 large off your hands in exchange for their tour’s “Ultimate V.I.P. Dressing Room Package.” Obviously, it’s loaded with special perks. You and three guests get a private backstage dressing room of your own, plus a backstage tour, and dinner. Demi and Nick will come to your dressing room. They’ll sign stuff and pose for photos, including professional shots and Polaroid selfies. You’ll also get a tour poster, a “snap-back hat,” and a custom designed bag. But there’s one important thing that is not included: Actual tickets to the concert. So you throw down 10 Grand, and they won’t even chip in a few nosebleed seats? On one hand, if you have $10,000 to blow on this nonsense, a few hundred more won’t break you, but come on. Larry David Earned $5,000 by Calling Donald Trump a Racist on “Saturday Night Live”
Donald Trump hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and the critics were mostly bored. The material wasn’t great, and Trump isn’t much of a comedian or actor, so it was bound to underwhelm. The most interesting moment occurred at the beginning of the show. Earlier in the week, a Latino advocacy group called Deport Racism offered $5,000 to anyone in the audience who called Trump a RACIST during his monologue. So while Trump was talking, LARRY DAVID yelled out, “You’re a racist!” When Trump asked him why he did it, Larry said it was for the 5-grand. And Trump replied, quote, “As a businessman, I can fully respect that.” Obviously, the whole thing was scripted, but Deport Racism says it WILL give Larry the $5,000. Get more here.
Some People Are Upset That Phil Collins Is Coming Out of Retirement?
Recently announced that he was coming out of retirementtd while the news wasn’t expected to light the world on fire, it didn’t seem like something that would infuriate people. But maybe it has? A petition popped up on Change.org called “Phil Collins Must Be Stopped.” It’s addressed to the United Nations, and it says, quote, “[He] has announced he’s ‘no longer in retirement.’ There is far too much suffering in the world as it is. This must be stopped.” Well over 4,000 people signed it. Even though it was clearly meant as a joke, not everyone got it, and they began using the petition to rant about how much they don’t like Phil on social media . . . or to whine about the hate on Phil. It got to the point where the person who created the petition issued an update saying, quote, “It very obviously wasn’t a serious petition. Surely no one could think this was going to be sent to the U.N.? “That anyone saw it as newsworthy is puzzling . . . it’s gone now, so people who reported it and directed so many other people’s attention towards it may direct their attentions to something of REAL importance.
