Did Adele Rip Off Some Kurdish Singer?
Adele is being accused of plagiarizing a Kurdish singer on her new song “Million Years Ago”. The guy’s name is Ahmet Kaya, and he put out music in the ’80s and ’90s before passing away in 2000. “Million Years Ago” sounds a little similar to a song of his called “Acilara Tutunmak”, which he released 20 years ago. Ahmet’s wife told a Turkish newspaper that she didn’t believe Adele would’ve intentionally stolen the song. But she added, quote, “If she consciously did it, then it would be theft.” Adele hasn’t commented. Get more here.

Khloe Lied About Pies!
Apparently Khloe Kardashian posted this photo claiming she made everything in it. But that’s probably not true as her pies look exactly like the pies available from an LA bakery called Sweet Lady Jane. Get more here.
Erykah Badu Sort of Apologized to Iggy Azalea
The “feud” started when Erykah “dissed” Iggy at the Soul Train awards by implying that her music isn’t rap. Iggy responded with a simple tweet:

Melanie Griffith Will Get $65,000 a Month From Antonio Banderas
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderasare officially divorced, and Melanie made out. She’s getting $65,000 a month in spousal support, and she also has the edge in the money distribution game. For some reason, Melanie and Antonio signed a post-nuptial agreement in 2004, and it keeps all their assets separate up until that date. But they split the money from all their work since then. Melanie hasn’t done much that’s really noteworthy, but Antonio’s work since ’04 includes all the “Shrek” stuff from Part 2 on, including the “Puss in Boots” spin-off, plus “The Legend of Zorro”, “Machete Kills”, and “Expendables 3”. Melanie also gets a Picasso called “The Painter and His Model” while he gets pencil drawings from Picasso and Diego Rivera. Get more here.
ABC Is Doing a Three-Hour “Dirty Dancing” Remake with Abigail Breslin
ABC is developing a three-hour “Dirty Dancing” remake starring Abigail Breslin, from “Little Miss Sunshine” and the Fox show “Scream Queens”. She’s playing “Baby,” the role Jennifer Grey had in the movie. It’ll be a musical, but unlike some of the other musicals the networks are doing, this one will not be live. There aren’t any other details, and no other casting has been announced. It’s also too early to say when it might air. “Dirty Dancing” has been revisited in the past. In 2004, they did that “Havana Nights” movie, and there was a short-lived “Dirty Dancing” show back in 1988 that only lasted 11 episodes. There has also been a stage version. In the past few years, there’s been talk about doing a movie remake and a miniseries, but neither of those projects got off the ground. Get more here.

Jepsen’s single “Run Away With Me” is included on the soundtrack for The Sims 4: Get Together, the latest expansion for the long-running life sim. If you’re familiar with the Sims you know there’s a plethora of in-game radio stations, playing popular music in Simish. And Carly isn’t the first artist to lend her talents to the game; Katy Perry, Janelle Monáe, Paramore, The Flaming Lips, My Chemical Romance, Kelly Rowland, and more have sung for the sims as well.
