Katy Perry’s Halftime Show Included Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott
Perry emerged riding an animatronic lion and wearing a dress of fire to perform her hit Roar. She quickly transitioned into the 2014 smash Dark Horse, a performance highlighted by a 3D rendering on the Super Bowl field that appeared to make the turf turn into different shapes and sizes, like a chessboard. Perry then made a wardrobe change for a clean rendition of Teenage Dream, which included dancing sharks and beach balls. Then some bikini-clad backup dancers hit the stage for “California Girls”. Then Katy brought out Missy Elliott for a three-song medley of her hits, “Get Ur Freak On”, “Work It”, and “Lose Control”. Val Kilmer Denies He Was Rushed to the Hospital for a Throat Tumor
There were reports that Val Kilmer was rushed to the hospital after suffering bleeding from his mouth, and ended up having surgery for a throat tumor. Kilmer posted a message on Facebook saying he didn’t have surgery , or even a tumor. But his rep clarified that he was being tested for a possible tumor. Then Val posted a follow-up message saying, quote, “Again, no tumor, no surgery. We are waiting for X-ray results and will stay close to my doctors advising, my family and Christian Science practitioner when all the facts are in. Justin Bieber Berates 12-Year Old Trespassers
Justin Bieber lost it with 2 young fans, chewing them out and taking one of their cellphones … but he was more than justified. We’re told a 12-year-old Belieber decided to celebrate her birthday with a friend last Saturday by sneaking onto Justin’s estate. The girls found an opening in the form of an open gate, went inside and came face to face with Justin who was enjoying the 80 degree weather with friends in his pool. Justin spotted and then berated them for trespassing, which frankly sounds reasonable, and then confiscated one of their very active cellphones. The girls left and cops were not called. Whitney Houston’s Daughter Nearly Drowned in a Bathtub
Whitney Houston’s 21-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina almost drowned in a bathtub on Saturday, just like her mother did almost exactly three years ago. There’s no indication drugs or alcohol were involved, but some reports claim she has “significantly diminished” brain function. According to the police, Bobbi Kristina’s husband Nick found her face-down in a bathtub on Saturday at their home in Roswell, Georgia. She was unresponsive, so he started CPR. Then cops took over when they got there. Eventually she was revived and rushed to the hospital, but there are conflicting reports about her condition. A source close to the family says she’s stable, but an NBC affiliate in Atlanta says the police confirmed that she was put in a medically induced coma. Get the full story here.
