Beyoncé Could Become the Only Artist to Hit #1 with Their First Six Albums

Beyoncé is on pace to sell 550,000 copies of “Lemonade”, which should easily be enough to debut at #1. And if she does, she’ll be the only artist to ever top the Billboard 200 with their first six studio albums. Not only that, she also debuted at #1 with all six. Two others have gone #1 with five: DMX and the folk group The Kingston Trio. Aside from Beyoncé, DMX is the only act to debut at #1 with five. Beyoncé kicked off her tour last night in Miami, and she was selling merchandise that said “Boycott Beyoncé.” Oh, and for everyone who’s worried about her and JAY Z, he WAS in the crowd. She dedicated “Halo” to him, saying, quote, “I wanna dedicate this to to my family, thank you guys for supporting me. I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so much.” She also paid tribute to Prince with “Purple Rain”. Get more here.

Kesha Finally Has a New Song Coming Out

Kesha hasn’t been successful in getting away from Sony or Dr. Luke yet, but she finally has some new music on the way. Earlier this month, Kesha hit the stage at Coachella with ZEDD, for a new version of his song “True Colors”. And they’re releasing a studio version of it tomorrow. And it’s legal. Technically, it’s a Zedd song featuring Kesha, and both Sony and Dr. Luke’s record label signed off on it. She sang it at her surprise appearance at Coachella:

She even posted a picture of herself in the studio, where she called Zedd, quote, “[An effing] beautiful person with a heart of gold.” This will be Kesha’s first official song since “Timber” with Pitbull in 2013. Get more here.

Will Ferrell Will Play Ronald Reagan in a Movie

Will Ferrell has played George W. Bush in a lot of “Saturday Night Live” sketches, and now he’s taking on another Republican president. And no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. Will is going to play Ronald Reagan in an upcoming movie called “Reagan” and since this is a Will Ferrell comedy, it is not a true story. In the movie, Reagan is beginning his second term, and is starting to fall into dementia. That’s when an intern is given the job of convincing Reagan that he’s an actor playing the president in a movie. There’s no other casting info yet. Get more here.
