From MTV Awards to Movie Soundtracks: *NSYNC Returns
*NSYNC, the iconic boy band of the late 90s and early 2000s, has stepped back into the spotlight with an exciting announcement. Following their rendezvous at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, the group has revealed their brand-new track, “Better Place,” marking their first musical release in over 20 years. This track has been specially crafted for the upcoming animated feature, Trolls Band Together.

Heralded as one of the quintessential pop bands of their time, *NSync has left a lasting mark on the music industry. Their final album from their primary tenure, Celebrity, hit the shelves in 2001. Afterward, the lead member, Justin Timberlake, ventured out alone, releasing his acclaimed solo debut, Justified, in 2002.

Timberlake and the Trolls Connection
It’s worth noting that Justin Timberlake isn’t new to the Trolls universe. He lent his voice to the character Branch in the film series. His composition highlights his musical prowess, “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” for the debut 2016 Trolls movie. This song not only made its debut at the zenith of the Billboard Hot 100 but also fetched Timberlake a Grammy.
The subsequent Trolls film in 2020, titled Trolls World Tour, showcased more of Timberlake’s original compositions. Some standout tracks include the Anderson .Paak duet, “Don’t Slack,” and the captivating SZA feature, “The Other Side.”

Mark your calendars for Friday, September 29, as that’s when “Better Place” is slated for release via RCA Records. Additionally, Trolls Band Together, with Justin Timberlake reprising his role as Branch, is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on Friday, November 17.
