A Man Drives Six Miles With His Wife on the Roof, Swears He Didn’t Know She Was Up There
There’s literally nothing about this story that makes sense, but that’s really what makes it great. A guy in Florida was just arrested for driving six miles with his WIFE on the roof of his car, and he swears he didn’t know she was up there. 69-year-old Richard Addy of Stuart, Florida and his 50-year-old wife Elizabeth got drunk at a bar on Monday night. They wound up getting into an argument, so Richard decided to leave without her. But he was either too drunk or mad or something to realize that Elizabeth had climbed onto the roof of his 2011 Toyota Sequoia. And apparently he didn’t hear her banging on the roof and screaming as he drove home. After six miles, Richard drove past a cop, who pulled him over for, you know, having a woman on top of his car. And believe it or not, Richard was only charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and permitting a passenger to ride on the exterior of a vehicle. Get more here.
Man Tased 5 Times, Grabs Taser From Police
Floyd Thomas Coburn and his girlfriend were at the Stake & Shake when they got into an argument. The Staff called police, and when they arrived, Floyd’s girlfriend decided to leave to cool down. Police let her go, but Floyd wasn’t having it, so he chased her car into traffic. Fearing for his safety and the safety of the drivers, police followed him, and tried to get him out of traffic, but he wasn’t about to move. He started taking swings at police, and they attempted to subdue him by taser. That didn’t work, so they tased him again. THAT didn’t work, so they did it again, and again, and again. Floyd was tased 5 times and didn’t go down, in fact, he just got mad and yanked the taser out of the officers hand. He started swinging at them again and at that point they had to bring out the real guns. He finally submitted when he saw their guns, and was arrested. He’s being charged with resisting arrest with violence, and depriving an officer of protection. Get more here.
