A Guy Says Cops Gave Him Two Black Eyes; But Security Footage Showed That He Punched Himself
33-year-old Aleksander Tomaszewksi is from Lucerne, California, but was brought in by cops in Lane County, Oregon last month for questioning in a stalking and sexual abuse case. Clearly he didn’t want to talk about it, so he came up with a plan to get out of there. He accused the cops of beating him, and filed an assault complaint. He was thinking that would get him released, since he had two black eyes to prove it. There was only one problem. Aleksander didn’t realize there was a security camera watching the holding cells. And the footage showed that he gave himself the two black eyes. In the video, he paces around and punches himself in the face over and over. Over the course of about four minutes, hit himself about 45 times. He was charged with initiating a false report and attempted coercion. A judge just gave him 20 days in jail and a $500 fine. Naked Burglar Shot at Tazed Twice and Continues to Fight Police
Officers responded just after noon to a report of a burglary-in-progress by a naked man, “When the officer gave verbal directions to the suspect, the suspect attacked the officer. After an extended physical fight, the suspect pushed the officer through wood panels of a side yard fence into a neighboring yard.” The officer zapped the suspect twice with a stun gun, but it had no effect. “The suspect again charged the officer and tried to remove the officer’s gun from its holster. The gun fell to the ground. The suspect reached for the gun but the officer retrieved it first,” police said. “The suspect tried to disarm the officer again and the officer fired at the suspect, striking him in the upper torso.” Even after he was wounded, the 27-year-old man continued to fight until additional officers arrived and helped take him into custody. Police said the suspect was a neighbor who was high on drugs. Residents are stunned to learn police believe the violent naked man is one of their neighbors. Get the full story here.
