Talking About Good News Before Bed Helps Your Sleep, Your Health, and Your Sex Life

It may seem like there’s not much good news out there right now . . . but you should really try to find some, and talk about it in bed tonight.  Apparently it makes for spectacular foreplay.

A new study out of Gonzaga University in Washington found that when couples talk about good news in their lives or in the world before they go to bed, they have a better SEX LIFE.

It also helps people sleep better . . . which improves their overall health and can even make them live longer.

And if you’re struggling to think of good news, the researchers say even small things from your day are okay . . . like telling them how you squeezed in a workout or had a good conversation with a coworker.

Should You Do Your Own Taxes Through H&R Block or TurboTax?

You’ve got about a week and a half to get your taxes done.  The deadline this year is Tuesday, April 18th unless you get an extension.

If you only have one full-time job, you might be planning to do your own taxes through a website like H&R Block or TurboTax.  So which one is better?

Well, six different writers for BusinessInsider.com did their taxes using both . . . and TURBOTAX was the winner.

They both cost about the same.  But five out of six preferred TurboTax, and only one preferred H&R Block.

The one who liked H&R Block had a really simple tax return, and said his refund was a few hundred dollars higher than when he used TurboTax.  But that was the outlier.

The other five liked TurboTax better for a few reasons.  Apparently it’s better if you have a slightly more complicated return.  One of them had to file two state returns, and TurboTax handled it.  H&R Block said they had to talk to a real person.

The others thought TurboTax’s interface was a little better . . . the language was easier to understand . . . and some of them got a slightly higher return, like 20 or 30 bucks.

So overall, they liked TurboTax a little bit better.

Burger King Is Launching a Froot Loops Milkshake

I’m dangerously addicted to sugar but even I think this looks like too much.

Burger King just announced they’re rolling out a new FROOT LOOPS milkshake later this month.  It’s made with vanilla ice cream, crushed up Froot Loops, and a, quote, “sweet sauce,” because clearly “sweetness” was the missing ingredient.

They’ll be on sale a week from Monday and will cost $2.99.
