JOHN MAYER wrote a song for a fan to apologize for his behavior 16 years ago. A guy named Brian Burns had tweeted a photo of his mom from 2005 being turned away from a photo op with John by his manager.
John saw the tweet and felt bad about it, so he went on TikTok to do a special birthday song and apologize for the snub.

Brian responded with his mom’s voicemail reaction. She says John’s gesture, quote, “Just made my year . . . I am walking on air.”
