The Bombshell Memoir: Britney Spears Gets Candid about Timberlake

The Britney Spears is gearing up to release her forthcoming memoir The Woman In Me and it’s loaded with surprises. She reveals a past pregnancy during her relationship with Justin Timberlake. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” she disclosed. Adding more spice to the tale, she mentioned, “I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.”

For those unaware, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake have been two of the most iconic figures in the music industry. Their paths first crossed as kids on the Mickey Mouse Club.

JT’s Truth or Dare Confession and Mickey Mouse Days

Another juicy detail from The Woman In Me? A little game of Truth or Dare brought them even closer. Britney narrated, “[Once] at a sleepover, we played Truth or Dare, and someone dared Justin to kiss me. A Janet Jackson song was playing in the background as he leaned in and kissed me.” That Mickey Mouse Club era not only marked the inception of their relationship but also laid the foundation of their professional careers. Britney recalled, “The show was unbelievably fun and exceptionally hard work,” noting they rehearsed “thirty times in a day.”

Britney’s Heartbreaking Conservatorship Struggles

Switching gears from her romance tales, Britney took a deep dive into her personal struggles, mainly focusing on her conservatorship ordeal in The Woman In Me. Describing her experience, she stated, “I became a robot. But not just a robot — a sort of child-robot.” Reflecting on the emotional turmoil, Spears highlighted, “The conservatorship stripped me of my womanhood, made me into a child. I became more of an entity than a person onstage. I had always felt music in my bones and my blood; they stole that from me.” Learn more about the book here.
