There’s a Petition to Have Jon Stewart Moderate a Presidential Debate
After 16 years on “The Daily Show”, who knows if Jon Stewart would be interested in jumping back into politics. But this would be awesome! There’s a petition on Change.org asking the Commission on Presidential Debates to let Jon moderate a presidential debate. And it has over 136,000 signatures. The petition cites Jon’s experience interviewing politicians and heads of state, his Peabody Awards for his coverage of the 2000 and 2004 races, and the supposed fact that 52.1% of Americans think Jon, quote, “generally shares [their] view of the world.” The petition is asking that Jon host one of the three debates between the eventual Republican and Democratic candidates, so he wouldn’t be presiding over a circus like the recent Republican debate on Fox News. Jennifer Lawrence Is the World’s Highest Paid Actress
Jennifer Lawrence tops Forbes.com’s annual list of The Highest Paid Actresses in World. She reportedly raked in $52 million over the past 12 months. In past years, they didn’t include foreign actors who almost exclusively worked in their home countries. They decided to add them in this year, so Chinese actress Bingbing Fan finished fourth. She played Blink in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, and is expected to appear in future “X-Men” movies.

Demi Lovato Got a Puppy for her Birthday
Demi Lovato turned 23 and in honor of the special occasion, the singer got the cutest present ever! Demi showed off her brand new puppy on Twitter saying, “Ummm… guys…. meet Batman…..” The birthday girl posted the photo showing the adorable black fluffy pup snoozing on a couch at home. The puppy comes at an especially emotional time, considering that last month her dog Buddy passed away after a tragic incident.

Josh Duggar Admits He Cheated on His Wife
After getting caught with secret Ashley Madison accounts, Josh Duggar came clean yesterday, admitting that he cheated on his wife Anna. In a statement on the family’s website, Josh said, quote, “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have been unfaithful to my wife . . .”I deeply regret all the hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example. I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.” (There’s a little more. Here’s the full statement.) There’s also a statement from Josh’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle, saying, quote, “When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken. Jenelle Evans Arrested Again for Hitting Her Ex’s new GF
Jenelle Evans was arrested again, this time for hitting her ex-fiance’s new girlfriend with a glass. Evans’ ex-fiance Nathan Griffith showed up at her South Carolina home to get his belongings. He brought along a new girlfriend, which didn’t sit well with Jenelle. Apparently Jenelle came charging out of the house and threw a glass at the girl, striking her in the head. Cops were called and they placed Jenelle under arrest for assault. A rep for Jenelle says the ‘Teen Mom 2’ star felt Nathan was provoking her by bringing over the new girl. Jenelle has been arrested nine times. She’s still in custody. Get more here.
‘Baywatch’ Star Jeremy Jackson Ordered to Stay Away From Girlfriend
Jeremy Jackson’s threatened and attacked his girlfriend so many times,she got a court-ordered protection from the ex “Baywatch” star. In court documents, Elise Ginsburg says in July he threatened to murder her multiple times while wielding a knife and a wine opener, strangled her and left her a bruised eye and cuts. She’s also worried that Jackson is putting together a posse to rob her house. A judge granted a restraining order, forcing Jackson to stay at least 100 yards away from Ginsburg, her family members and her emotional support dog, a pug named Versace. Get more here.
