The CW Is Reviving “Mad TV”
Earlier this year, the cast of “MADtv” reunited for a 20th anniversary special . . . and maybe that made some people remember how great the show was, because the CW just announced that they’re reviving it. For now, they’re planning on eight, hour-long episodes with a new cast. However, former cast members will come back as hosts. There aren’t any names yet, either for the new stars or the returning ones. There also isn’t a premiere date. The original show aired on Fox for 14 seasons, from 1995 to 2009. Get more here.
Kylie Jenner’s Cosmetic Company Accidentally Exposed Customer Info
Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit is a hot commodity! It sells out in just minutes, every time it’s restocked. But when it was restocked this time, customers flocked to the site and found someone else’s info. There was a glitch in the site that, when people logged in, showed other customers personal info. Including names, order history, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, etc. It gets worse, when customers noticed, they tried refreshing, thinking the site just loaded incorrectly. But every time they’d hit refresh they were shown yet another customers info. The company quickly installed a temporary fix and will likely have to rebuild the site. Get more here.
Screech Is Getting Out of Prison Early!
“Saved by the Bell” actor Dustin Diamond was arrested back in December of 2014 after he stabbed a guy in a bar fight. He testified that when he pulled out his concealed 4 inch blade, it was only to defend his wife. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct, he was sentenced to 4 months in prison. But he’s out early on good behavior! Dustin was a model prisoner and volunteered to help with cleaning and laundry every day, each time earning him one day of “good time” off his sentence. He ended up serving almost 3 months. The Voice of “Dora the Explorer” Pressured a Classmate into Vaping
15-year-old Fatima Ptacek is the latest voice of “Dora the Explorer”, and she’s being dragged into court by the parents of a former classmate. They claim Fatima got their daughter expelled from the fancy high school they both went to in New York. Back in December, Fatima and two female classmates were vaping in the girl’s bathroom. But an older student ratted them out, and the one girl was kicked out of school, Fatima only got a three-day suspension. It seems like she got off easy, after all, it’s hard to imagine the school expelling Dora the Explorer. But then again, the third girl wasn’t punished at all. The parents of the expelled girl say Fatima peer-pressured their daughter into it, because she wanted to appear “cool” in front of her since, she’s a celebrity. They filed court papers demanding that the school reinstate their daughter, and they’re also seeking unspecified damages. For what it’s worth, no drugs were involved, not even tobacco.
